Shipping Information

California Organic Flowers proudly ships all products via FedEx Priority Overnight.

  • Arrival in most locations by 10:30 AM
  • Rural locations and special delivery areas may arrive as late as 5:00 PM or in rare cases the next day.
  • FedEx does not deliver on Sundays or Mondays.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Flowers are perishable. Please make sure some one is available to receive delivery of our products.
  • Especially in below freezing weather or summer heat conditions, the quality of your flowers will be compromised if no one is available to receive the delivery.

FedEx reserves the right to leave a ‘request for pickup’ notice if the driver finds it unsafe to leave a package due to weather or risk of theft. In any case, California Organic Flowers LLC is not responsible for any shipment that is not received upon delivery. We hope you are as excited about giving our flowers as we are about growing them and that you send the recipient advance notice so they are prepared to accept their gift.

Rural Delivery Areas:

  • FedEx priority overnight arrives in some rural areas as late as 5:00 PM or in rare cases the next day. Some rural locations are not available for Saturday delivery.
  • If you make an order for Saturday delivery in a location in which FedEx does not deliver, we will notify you by phone or email to let you know your options.

Saturday Delivery:

  • We offer Saturday delivery through FedEx for an additional charge to most locations (see notes above about rural deliveries).
  • We do not offer delivery on Sunday or Monday.
  • If you are making a Saturday delivery to a business or office, please make sure ahead of time that the office is open on Saturdays. If it is not open, FedEx will hold your package and redeliver on Monday.

  • Tuesday-Friday Delivery: $14.95
  • Saturday Delivery: $22.95
  • Hand Delivery in Chico, Ca: $7.50
  • Wedding Packs: $24.95 (T-F) $34.95 Saturday

Holidays:

Please be advised that FedEx shipping can be delayed during major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). We hope you understand.

Hospital Shipments:

Many hospitals receive shipments in their receiving department and may not be set up to deliver boxes to patients. Always check with the hospital in question to see if they will accept FedEx shipments for patients.

Extreme Weather Conditions:

In the event of extreme weather conditions (snowstorms, ice storms thunderstorms, hurricanes and earthquakes) FedEx will not be able to deliver your packages on time. These conditions are out of ours and FedEx’s control. We hope you understand.

Chico, California Deliveries:

When you place an order on our website for local Chico, California delivery, your flowers will be arranged in a vase and hand delivered. Your order will be charged a $7.50 delivery charge for Chico delivery. FedEx charges do not apply to Chico deliveries.

P.O. Boxes:

FedEx can not deliver to P.O Boxes, Please use a physical address for all deliveries.

 

Returns & Exchanges

California Organic Flowers is absolutely committed to your satisfaction with our products. All our flowers are picked fresh from the farm and delivered to you with the best systems available. We believe in providing flowers that are in season and therefore the freshest possible. With that in mind, your actual bouquet may differ from the one appearing on our website. All of our flowers, fruit and gifts should arrive to you in excellent condition. However, we will not guarantee products if they were shipped to an address where no one was immediately present to receive them. Our products were simply not designed to sit in the hot sun or freezing weather. We ask that you give our products the same level of care, that we have in bringing them to you.

If your product has arrived damaged or on the incorrect date, we will gladly offer to reship the product as soon as possible. Contact us at info@californiaorganicflowers.com or (530) 891-6265.

Please note California Organic Flowers will only offer to reship your order if the recipient of the package was present to receive the order. We will not be responsible for orders in which we were given the incorrect address by the sender or were not received upon delivery.

Ordering Questions:

Q. Can I change my order?
A. Yes, you may change or cancel orders up to the day of  shipment. Three days advance notice are required during major holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Q. What kind of payment is accepted?
A. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.

Q. How do I know my order went through?
A. You will receive an order confirmation via email once your credit card has been processed, generally immediately after you order is placed.

Q. Are credit card orders safe with CaliforniaOrganicFlowers?
A. Yes, we use state of the art secure server software (secure socket layers) encryption to ensure your privacy. For more info see our Privacy Policies.

Q. I have not received order confirmation, what should I do?
A. Sometimes it takes up to 4 hours (especially during holidays) to receive confirmation. If you have not received confirmation within 24hours please contact us at orders@californiaorganicflowers.com or (530) 891-6265

Q.What about sales taxes?
A. All orders shipped within California will be charged 7.25% sales tax. All other states will not be charged sales tax.

Q. How do I choose a ship date?
A. The dates that are available for shipment will show on the 'Select Date' drop down menu.

Q. Where does California Organic Flowers Ship?
A. All 48 continental USA states.

Q. Can I change my delivery date/address?
A. Sure, you can make changes up to the date of shipment. 3 days advance notice during holidays please.

Q. What happens if nobody is available at delivery time?
A. We always recommend that someone be able to receive shipments. If no one is available at delivery time, FedEx will leave your package at your front or back door. If the driver deems the weather conditions severe or risk of theft high, they may leave a “request for pick up” note. We take very good care of our flowers and hope you do as well, please have someone available at delivery time, we are not responsible for deliveries left at the door.

Q. Where do you get your flowers?
A. We grow them ourselves!! Most of our flowers come from our Terra Bella Farm in Chico CA. Our farm is a small family operation, my wife Julia and I are involved in all aspects of planting, growing and harvesting the flowers we sell. All of our land is  Certified  Organic by CCOF and USDA. Occasionally we feature organically grown flowers and products from other growers, in these cases we will indicate their origin in the product description.
